Allusionist Live - Sydney

Hello again, Sydney! Pleased to be returning to Giant Dwarf - so if you saw our show last year, you should come along to this one, No Title, because it’s all new. NB: despite how this post might make it look, the show is not 25.5 hours long. It is some 24 hours shorter than that, but we will be performing it on two nights, 29 and 30 May. I can’t help but think this sounds more complicated than it is. Anyway, tickets are on sale HERE.

Our Australian tour is in association with the wonderful Audiocraft festival. audiocraft.com.au

Audiocraft Festival, Sydney

Audiocraft is one of the nicest audio events I’ve ever attended - and one of the most useful. If you’re working in audio, or interested to do so, I’d recommend it; at last year’s, I learnt a lot in just one day. Also did a session with Eleanor McDowall about trying to keep ideas going and preventing burnout, and you can listen to this onstage nervous breakdown here. (A few days after that, I got seriously ill and was hospitalised for 3 1/2 weeks, so clearly do not know enough about preventing burnout)

Find out more about this year’s festival at audiocraft.com.au/podcast-festival. I’ll be doing a couple of things - on the Saturday, an Under the Hood of the Allusionist, breaking down how an episode is made; and on the Sunday a bit in the Future Podcast session, coming up with an Allusionist episode from the year 2062.

Tickets are on sale HERE.

Allusionist Live - Adelaide

The Allusionist live show No Title is coming to Adelaide! One hour-ish of linguistics-based edutainment in the Holden St Theatre, a converted church - I used to live in a converted church, in fact that’s where the Allusionist began, so am particularly excited about this venue.

Tickets are on sale HERE.

The Allusionist live show No Title is coming to Perth! One hour-ish of linguistics-based edutainment in the Dolphin Theatre at the University of Western Australia.

Tickets are on sale HERE.

Our Australian tour is in association with the wonderful Audiocraft festival audiocraft.com.au, and this particular show is happening thanks to listener Rob Lines, who has gone to the trouble of organising it TWICE now. (I messed up the first fixture last year, as I was busy putting on a show in an operating theatre in Hobart rather than the fun kind of theatre in Perth.)
