For Four Letter Word Season, we’re having an Allusioverse watchalong of the 1999 film Dick, followed by the 2023 comedy Dicks: The Musical. It's a Double Dicks watchalong! Stay classy, Helen.

Dick is a humorous reimagining of the Watergate Scandal, except Deep Throat is actually two 15-year-olds, played by Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams.

Dicks: The Musical is an adaptation of an off-Broadway musical comedy about a pair of identical twins who plot to reunite their divorced parents. Megan Mullally and Megan Thee Stallion are in it, so a good selection of Megans.

I have never seen either of these films before but have only heard effusive praise for both!

Our watchalong date is Saturday 12 June. We'll start with Dick at 1pm PT/4pm ET/20:00 UTC/21:00 UK/check your timezone, the runtime is 94 minutes. Then we'll take a ten-minute break, then continue with Dicks: The Musical, starting around 2.50pm PT/5.50pm ET/20:50 UTC/21:50 UK/check your timezone; runtime is 86 minutes. Sorry for the late/early times for some of you, but the overlapping awake-times for everyone are pesky.
